Although Jorge is right that, technically speaking, \'lithiasis\' SHOULD refer only to the process of stone formation and not to the stones themselves, in practice the term is widely used this way in the medical literature. It is not for us (mere translators) to pass judgement and slap the wrists of the medical community for utilizing commonly accepted terminology.

litiasis (in English, lithiasis) is the formation of calculi and concretions. Thus here the term "calculi" should be used. Also common medical knowledge.
