Dutch term

Ontslag van ambtshalve inschrijving

Dutch to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
CONTEXT: "De overschrijvers verklaren de Heer Hypotheekbewaarder te ontslaan van enige ambtshalve inschrijving tijdens de overschrijving van deze akte."
Could somebody explain the meaning of this term?

My proposed translation: "The transferors state to discharge the registrar of mortgages of the taking of the sole official subscription during the transfer of this deed."

I am not sure if it makes any sense in English though...

robsanten May 8, 2009:
ontslaan is niet discharge in deze zin. - Volgens mij word er hier bedoelt 'will not be required...'<br>Hele zin: The transferors state the mortgage registrar (mortgagee) will not be required in any way to officially register the deed during the transfer.

the transferors declare to relieve the mortgage registrar...

of the offical registry during the copying of this deed.' That is what it literally says. But I think that Robsanten's version is also good. It depends what it should say in the document though. "Van ambshalve" I consider used wrongly in this sentence. Normally it should not be used as an adjective and should certainly not be split, but obviously there was an urge to compress the text so much that they used it in another way than is normally the case. "Enige" is not used as 'sole' but as Robsanten said, as 'not in any way'.

neutral Kitty Brussaard : I'm afraid it's more complex than that. See https://www.proz.com/kudoz/7073258 where the meaning of 'ambtshalve inschrijving nemen' (under Belgian mortgage law) was recently discussed again.

Notice exempting the Mortgage Registrar from registration of his own motion

Conveyancing of land or sale of goods. Not clear from the context.

The transferors do hereby exempt/give notice exempting/ the MR from any registration/making any registered entry/ of his own motion during the transcription of this deed.

ambtshalve has got that Germanic nuance meaning 'of one's own motion' besides officially.

overschrijving: maybe does mean copying-out, though at the time of this deed of conveyance etc. would make more sense.
