@jfmcmillan Why not suggest that as an answer? Most of the responses up there sound convoluted from being literal.

Open door policy In U.S. English it is common for managers to describe themselves as having an "open door policÿ," which means they are open and available for staff questions, feedback, advice, etc. Hope this helps.!

"ready interaction with people" is proposed as a slightly more literal alternative to "extraverted contact with people".
