communication and coexistence

I only suggest "communication" as an alternative to dialogue. Whereas "peaceful coexistence " is rather cliched and perhaps a bit long, I think the "peaceful" part would be understood in the context.
"Coexistence" sounds less touchy-feely and more formal to me, which is why I prefer it here myself.

Here there are four examples where the word instances has been used with the same meaning I have used it. As you see it is a sense widely used that obviously Lisa is not aware of.

-Instances of adaptations to meet individual differences. H.M.Wessel

-While you could certaoinly find instances of people doing things because they like to do them, you also could find instances of people doing things they do not like.(Theories of human communication - S.W. Littlejohn).

-This information collected from both verbal and non verbal messages, is essential in intercultural communication because in many instances you are dealing with strangers. (Communication between cultures- L.A Samovar)

-Effective clinical practice thus involves many instances where critical information must be accurately communicated.(Professional Communication and Team CollaborationMichelle O’Daniel; Alan H. Rosenstein.)
