The document is an email exchange in Mexican Spanish (a dialect with which I'm not totally familiar colloquially).

In it the person says "me dieron posibilidades de esperar (has de decir que como muelo), pero.....


I've only ever seen the word muelo used as a derivative of the verb moler, or as a noun meaning a grinder, or something of the sort. I'm not familiar with "esperar como muelo"


Any thoughts?

agree Charles Davis : Plenty of examples from Mexico too. If anything it seems stronger: "be a pain", "keep going on about it", "harp on", that sort of thing.

I know 'como mola' and it's used when something is great, cool, etc.
