As usual, my brain stops when I hit an unfamiliar abbreviation. This is talking about treating intravenous drug users (ΧΕΝ) with HIV.

Regarding "Ειδικές λοιμώξεις" I am not quite sure how infectious diseases are classified. Perhaps "κοινές - ειδικές λοιμώξεις" may be translated as "common - uncommon infectious diseases". Hope this helps!

--Βέβαια η αποστολή των ΜΕΛ δεν περιορίζεται μόνο στην αντιμετώπιση του HIV. Οι ΜΕΛ κατέχουν ευρύτερο ρόλο στην επιτήρηση των λοιμώξεων εντός του πλαισίου των νοσοκομείων του ΕΣΥ που συνίσταται:--
