Tourism marketing
Hello there,
I am working on the translation of marketing responses on the topic of Singaporean tourism and travel.
I do not have the corresponding questions to the responses and so there is no context as such.
I know I should know the term I query but cannot recall it to mind -- sorry to say, and I wonder if any of you may be able to lend a hand?
Thank you in advance :)

"the law mentioned" or "the law referred to"
该法 refers back to a law already mentioned, and which is the subject of the discussion. In order to avoid repetition of the whole law, or the term for the law, the writer just writes 该法.

"that law or "that method"
It means "that law, or "that method"

I don't think "that way" is right. Way is 方式, not 方法。
it is the short form of "法律“/”方法“。

Thanks for clarifying, JYuan |
Would "that way" convey the same message? Thanks |

This law / the said law
In order to avoid repeating a law that was already mentioned, the writer just says "this law". If the piece is a formal document - such as a legal document - the phrase "the said law" can also be used.
