Shalom Bresticker Sep 14, 2020: "Literal" is no taboo. But it should capture the meaning. In this case, ועדה is closer. Having participated in a number of such working groups in my career, including currently, I have a good understanding of the term. In fact, working groups often refer to themselves unofficially as committees.
