Доброго времени суток.

For four consecutive Halloweens, I was Dorothy. One year I made my family join in; Dad was the Tin Man, Mom was the Scarecrow, little brother was the Lion, and my sister was a Care Bear (we ran out of Oz costumes). Every year I wore the same Dorothy dress. Every year my Dorothy got a little more inappropriate as I grew and the dress didn’t. Every year for Christmas we made ornaments to give as gifts to friends, family, and our teachers at school. My brother made Christmas trees, my sister made candy canes. I made Dorothys. And while I never quite perfected my yellow-brick-road skip, I could sing every word of “Over the Rainbow” and even nailed the ****instrumental “ree-ii-deet-dee-dee-dee-dee-dee” portion of the “We’re Off to See the Wizard” number every time.
