Καλημέρα. Δεδομένου ότι μιλάμε για αρνητικά αποτελέσματα μιας κλινικής ανάλυσης στα αποτελέσματα τα οποία προσδοκούνταν να εξαχθούν μετά από τις κατάλληλες μετρήσεις των δεδομένων, μιλάμε λοιπόν για ματαιότητα μεν, μη παραγωγικότητα δε των συγκεκριμένων δεδομένων προς ανάλυση. Και από την άλλη επίσης το επίθετο futile σημαίνει καθαρά άκαρπος (unproductive), μάταιος, ανώφελος. Άρα αναφερόμαστε σε άκαρπα, μη παραγωγικά αποτελέσματα ανάλυσης δεδομένων.
