Slovak term

ardik.

Slovak to English Medical Medical (general)
G54.1 LIS l. dx. ardik. irit. sy SI l. dx., porucha statodynamiky thorakolumbálnej chrbtice, dx. skolióza

"ardik." appears twice. Is it a typo for "artik."?

I would guess LIS is "lumboischialgia syndrome".

LIS = lumbosciatic syndrome
"Lumboischiadický syndróm, ľudovo ISCHIAS, vzniká následkom zacviknutia ischiadického (sedacieho) nervu v mieste jeho výstupu z miechového kanála"
https://www.lubovnianskanemocnica.sk/wp-content/uploads/2016...

"Lumboischiatický syndróm (LIS) - ide o koreňový syndróm v lumbosakrálnej oblasti"
https://fyzioterapiask.wordpress.com/nas-kolektiv/lok/5-lumb...

"The lumbosciatica is a lumbar pain with painful distal radiation in the lower limbs of radicular topography L5 or S1"
https://www.scirp.org/journal/paperinformation?paperid=71478

"ardik" should be "radik", i.e. radicular (irritative) syndrome
"Radicular syndrome/ Sciatica: a disorder with radiating pain in one or more lumbar or sacral dermatomes"

Yes, I think it's a typo.

As for LIS, it's probably Late Onset Idiopathic Scoliosis (LIS) judging from the context.

Note from asker:
Typo - thought so :) Thanks also for the suggestion about LIS.

radicular

Yes, it is a typo for „radikulárny“, meaning "radicular". LIS in Slovak stands for "lumboischialgic syndrome", but in English it is referred to simply as "sciatica".
