Danish term

træk/trække

Danish to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) contracts and agreements
Does anyone know a good/equivalent term for 'træk' in this context? Or am I overthinking it and it should simply be 'draw'??

Proposed translations (English)
3 +1 drawable amount, drawdown/draw upon

Discussion

maybe call-offs would work?
Pernille Kienle (asker) Jan 17:
apologies - should have been more clear :)
Pernille Kienle (asker) Jan 17:
not finance-related No, it is part of a procurement agreement (upon accepting a tender). It is about how much the client can use/draw of what has been tendered.

Am I right to assume this is a lending or financing agreement?

"drawdown" is more suitable for lending, it's the actually used part of the credit line.

For procurement, I would still use "draw upon the following options" for "trække på følgende optioner", but something like "maximum procurement amount envisaged under the Framework Agreement throughout its term" for "det højest tænkelige træk på rammeaftalen i hele aftaleperioden"

OK thanks - much appreciated!

agree Adrian MM. : > though in UK export and retailing, the idea is 'requisitioning' vs. the translatorese of 'calling off' master agreement instal(l)ments.
