I think examen de rezagado is makeup exam.

A makeup exam is an exam that a student takes to make up for a missed or failed exam. This type of exam is usually given to students who were unable to take an exam on the scheduled date due to illness, personal emergency, or other valid reasons.

I would really appreciate your help.

resit exam

Or just "resit".
A resit exam is an opportunity to sit an assessment again.

At least, that's what we called them in the UK.

Deferred examination

This is another option where an exam was not taken for justifiable reasons
Example sentence:

A Deferred Examination may be granted to students who cannot complete a scheduled Formal Examination due to Special Circumstances such as Medical, Employment, Family/Personal and other reasons out of their control.

Peer comment(s):

agree Joaquín DONDO : Yes. Both "make-up" and "resit" are exams that you're taking for the second time. In this case, you're taking it for the first time, only later that the rest.

Thanks Joaquim. I agree than ‘make-up exam’ and ‘resit’ aren’t the same thing as a ‘deferred exam’’, the first two meaning that you’ve failed the exam before
agree ormiston : I think this fits Asker's description
