Finnish Edition = Suomalainen painos?

Non-PRO English to Finnish Art/Literary Linguistics
is this correct? I also found "painos suomi", so I would need to amke sure which one is correct!

"laitos" is used in Finnish to refer to editions (see web reference to a publisher's site)

If you wish to use "painos", I'd still use "suomenkielinen" instead of "suomalainen"

agree Marek Burakowski : Both are correct, "suomenkielinen laitos" is perhaps more official. I would like to add that this only applies to published material, i.e. books and articles. It doesn't apply for cars, computer games etc.

Yes, this is true. "Versio" (version) is another possible word in Finnish if "painos" or "laitos" does not work.
