Splitting hairs here … 'Chompers' can indeed be translated by 'quenottes', both being terms for teeth in general. But here a distinction is drawn between 'fangs' and 'chompers', the suggestion being that it is the 'chompers' that do the chewing.

Comme la connotation n'est pas mignonne ici et que "chompers" vient compléter "fangs" (voir mon commentaire en discussion), j'utiliserais le terme générique pour dents d'animal, qui est aussi la version familière de dents, "crocs".
