It is the opening of a Noncompetition Agreement. I looked it up on Osborn's Concise Law Dictionary and I got the basic meaning, but I'm not sure how to translate it in Italian.

credo di aver individuato in rete il contratto di cui ti stai occupando e posso dirti che la formula di apertura costituisce una classica espressione con cui si richiama il "titolo" o, in altre parole, la 'causa fondante' del contratto, posto che il termine "consideration" significa esattamente "corrispettivo / contropartita".
In pratica si sta dicendo che l'impiegato assume gli impegni elencati successivamente "a fronte degli emolumenti richiamati poi in fondo, in una delle clausole finali" e di cui puoi vedere un esempio qui sotto:
Payment of these awards is not triggered by termination of employment (because the awards would become payable under the terms of the LTPP if the named executive officer continued employment), but if he or she resigns, retires or is involuntarily terminated without cause after attaining age 55 with at least 15 years of service, the following terms apply: http://www.ibm.com/annualreport/2008/proxy_toc_1_excom10.sht...
