Empty Containers

Drums that once contained chemicals are not considered empty until the following criteria are met:

No liquids are released from the drum when the drum is inverted.

Solid residues are removed.

Store empty drums in a separate location from full drums.

Drums shall be rinsed on site only in a contained sump or wastewater treatment facility.
