Hei! I'm trying to pin down the meaning of the term "shaver" in the sentence below, the surgeon was unable to insert a cannula into the knee because of pronounced synovitis, instead he carried out the procedure as follows:
"Etablerer .. anteromedial tilgang og går inn med shaver."
I can't find what is meant by a "shaver" in any online resources, so would really appreciate any help from someone who has encountered this term. Mange takk!
