disagree  Arve-Olav Solumsmo: "Kurve" is a chart, in the simplest form the sheet that used to hang at the end of the bed. The medical record is usually called "journalen". Doctors, particularly at ICUs usually say they only need the chart, not the record - which confuses IT people.
