"granskning i efterhand" is a widely used term. It has nothing specific to do only with tv broadcasting or legislation of any kind. I cannot find/think of anything better than "ex-post evaluation", so I would just translate it like this.

agree  Deane Goltermann: ex-post seems right, but this is a review or audit, I'd say. The legislation indicated by the asker specifies a limited circumstance that precludes all the other possible translations. For me context is always important in deciding which term is best.
