Bio
While living in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from 1995 to 2005, I acquired conference translation skills (simultaneous) with the UNESCO office there. Translated many documents from French to English and English to French for numerous international organizations (UNESCO, UNDP, Handicap International, GRET, Government of Cambodia, etc.). These dealt frequently on themes relating to sustainable development, poverty reduction, cultural heritage preservation.

Translated core documents for the International Coordinating Committee for the Safeguarding and Development of the Historic Site of Angkor, 300 pages per year.

Through the Phnom Penh UNESCO office, frequently translated documents for the Cambodian government authority for preservation of the world heritage site of Angkor.

As a freelancer, was hired by Pyramid Co., Ltd. (www.pyramidtranslate.com) and performed numerous and varied translation assignments for a broad business and humanitarian organization client base.

Since becoming established in Hanoi in August 2005, key translation and interpreting assignments have been from the Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD), the Centre international de recherche agronomique pour le développement (CIRAD), the French Embassy in Hanoi, as well as the World Bank.
