Translation - English How to Create a Web Site
One of the most common methods is to rent Web space from an Internet service provider. Most providers offer free Web space to their subscribers. This inexpensive option often allows you to try it out without taking too much risk.
Turning to a webmaster for your Web site should lead to the creation of a professional site. Make inquiries about projects the company has already completed and about their success.
In-house design may also be expensive. It may be necessary to bring in an experienced webmaster who takes care of the design, development and maintenance of a site, both at the content level and for the technical aspects.
The domain name is one of the main things that enable people to identify you. The name must be registered before it can be used.
As for the site content, how can you make your site more interesting? A moderate use of color and graphics can make your site stand out. However, you should not overdo it because even though the cost of disk space is insignificant, you should not forget that the overload of information on the Web has become a problem. Allow for white space and use a clear and concise style.
Plan ahead for hypertext links and gateways. The framework of a site is supported by hypertext links that enable various documents to link to each other. It is also helpful to point your users to other sites that are likely to interest them. Generally these would be sites that provide additional information about a specific subject or about a complementary activity.

Les parfums ne font pas frissonner sa narine;
Translation - English The Sleeper in the Valley
In a lush green hollow where sings the river blue
wildly tossing shards of silver to the grasses
from the noble mountain the sunshine gleams anew
fills the vale with sparkling light that naught surpasses.
A soldier yet a babe, mouth ajar, head unclad
sleeps, at peace, in a bath of cool blue watercress
stretched out in tall green blades, beneath the clouds the lad
is pale, light rains down on his God-given mattress.
He sleeps, and in the gladioli rest his feet
smiling as a sick child would smile, his eyelids meet;
nature, please cradle him warmly, he is still cold.
His nose no longer quivers from whiffs of perfume
his hand on his still chest, sun shining on his tomb
reveals on his right side two bright red gaping holes.

Translation - English What is Asthma?
Asthma is a chronic illness that affects your airways. When you have asthma, the inside walls of your airways are inflamed and swollen. A number of things can trigger or exacerbate the symptoms of asthma, for example pollen or air pollution. When your airways react to things that you are allergic to, they get narrower and your lungs can not get as much air.
When the symptoms get worse, it’s called an asthma attack. During an asthma attack, the muscles surrounding your airways contract and make your airways even narrower. At the same time the cells can also produce more mucus than usual and this hypersecretion leads to a partial obstruction of the bronchi. These changes make breathing even more difficult.

Translation - English The present circumstances merit, even demand, to be studied and addressed with lucidity and an elevated sense of nation and the common good. A statesman must have the confines and the challenges of the moment firmly rooted in his mind in order to solve the political equation in the best interest of the nation, and to launch the machine of the State that is getting bogged down in heretofore futile and unsuccessful debates.
However, the equation is clear and well-known: the President of the Republic is elected with a comfortable majority of voters, but does not have a parliamentary majority. Therefore we have a pressing need to open the dialogue between the Executive and the Legislative branches in order to appoint a prime minister who depends on a functional majority, which he has a duty to forge, in order to assure the stability and efficiency of his government.

Over 24 years of French language experience!
I have an undergraduate degree in French and Elementary Education from UNC-CH, as well as a masters degree in Romance Philology (Old French, Old Italian, Old Portuguese, Paleography), also from UNC-CH. I specialize in Old French to English and also in transcribing old texts. I have lived, worked, and vacationed in France and Switzerland for a total of several years.
I am currently working on my certification at NYU SCPS in French to English translation, where I have consistently turned in professional level translations. I have spent a lot of time in France, including one year as an Au-pair.
I have over 24 years of French language experience and I am an excellent translator. I am consistently in the top of my class at NYU, and I have an innate sense for understanding language that enables me to accurately translate even difficult passages.
Other subject matter credentials - I am also an oboist and have spent most of my life studying music. I have researched and worked in genealogy for years. I have studied religion (Christianity) as well.
Some recent jobs I have done include transcription and translation of Danone Activia videos, a Declaration from the Groupe de 16 of Haiti, and several general legal letters from Canada.
I hope you will consider me for your next translation needs. You will not be disappointed.
