I’m an Italian native speaker and I graduated from the University of Padua in 2006 in Foreign Languages (English and Portuguese). 

Since my mother and her family are Portuguese, I’ve been speaking this language since I was a child. 

In 2006 I started to translate from English and Portuguese into Italian as a freelance. During these years I’ve been working for some translation agencies and language schools, for companies, and for social networking sites for translations (such as proz.com, peopleperhour.com, translated.net, traduguide.com) and I've been specializing in these fields: 
- Legal/Marketing (birth/death certificates, agreements, patents, articles of association, founding act of companies, meeting minutes, registered letters, financial statements, etc.)
- Technical-scientific (datasheets of food products, brochures for the presentation of companies dealing with renewable energies, projects dealing with renewable energies, instruction and installation manuals of heat pumps and lamps, datasheets of solar modules, batteries and inverters, etc.)
- Architectural (architectural plans, sanitary and brassware schedules, windows and doors schedules, decoration and finishes schedules, carpentry schedules, etc.) 
- Medical (dentist quotations, instructions for use of medicines, etc.)
- Music
-Arts, biographical and literary (articles about painters' and writers' lives and works)

To get specialized I also attended translation training seminars and workshops, (such as “Legal English: Interpretation and Translation of English Legal Texts” held by the lawyer Serena De Palma and “Professional workshop dedicated to the figure of the literary translator” held by the publishing house Faligi Editore). 


I've been also an Italian teacher for foreigners, so I have excellent spelling and grammar skills, and I have reviewed and proofread a lot of different types of documents (curricula vitae, degree thesis, newspaper and magazine articles...) and I have been a member of the redational staff of the webzine Musicboom, for which I have written live reports, album reviews, specials and interviews.
