Traduttrice-interprete esperta, positiva, un po' schiva :) come una chiocciola (shabelul in ebraico), accurata e affidabile; madrelingua italiana, seconda lingua attiva inglese, lingua aggiuntiva francese. Titoli e studio: maturità tecnica aziendale. Diploma superiore di traduttrice e interprete consecutiva; altro studio accademico senza titoli (3 anni simultanea inglese SSIT, 2 anni mediazione linguistica IULM, 3 anni materie ebraiche presso il Collegio Rabbinico Italiano; autodidatta per le basi di diritto penale). Carriera: 1986-1998: impiegata da rappresentanze straniere in Italia, settore informazione e cultura. 2002-2005: volontariato, attività lavorative solo occasionali a causa di lunga pausa maternità. 2005-2013 libera professione, incluse irregolari chiamate come CTU a Roma. Residente in Calabria dal 2017, sono ancora una valida interprete generica, ma ormai lavoro perlopiù su testi scritti.
Disponibile per autocertificazione professionale e giuramento in Tribunale e Apostille, prezzi modici. Appassionata di fantascienza classica, gatti e materie ebraiche. Emetto regolare fattura. Amo questa professione, che esercito come piccola imprenditrice autonoma, operativa dalla domenica al venerdì pomeriggio. I am an optimistic, expert translator-interpreter, a bit shy :) like a snail (shabelul in Hebrew), accurate and reliable. Native in Italian, with English as second best, and French as additional language. Education and titles: High-school business diploma. Tertiary degree in translation-consecutive interpreting. Further academic study without degrees (3 years, English simultaneous interpretation; 2 years, IULM foreign language mediation; 3 years, Jewish studies at the Rabbinical College of Rome; some self-teaching in criminal law.) Career: 1986-1998 full-time employee in international representations (libraries, cultural and press offices). 2002-2005: pro-bono activities and part-time occasional work only, due to a long maternity break. From 2005 to 2013: freelancer, with occasional calls as translator or interpreter by the Court of Rome. Resident in Calabria since 2017. I am still a good interpreter but now I mostly focus on written texts.
I am available for self certification and Court legalisation, with or without Apostille, with reasonable fees. I like very much traditional science-fiction, Jewish studies and cats. I issue standard invoices and I am available from Sun to Fri afternoon. I am a full-time small business owner and I love my profession. Large projects and private clients require a down payment; with agencies, I prefer a P.O. and short-term payments.
