After a few years spent working in private companies as
Purchasing Manager and commercial interface for foreign customers, I would currently
apply myself full-time as a translator.
My working languages are Spanish and English which I translate toward my
native language, Italian whose deep knowledge I consider the basic requirement
to develop any translation work and communication task in general.
I’ve always liked the translator’s work which I consider a
profession with a strong cultural value because it allows to mediate, build
bridges between societies and different cultures, find out undiscovered worlds
and unknown aspects. I face every text, every project, even the most tecnical,
as a precious raw material to be moulded and shake through a series of passages going by the first draft to the revision up
to the re-reading and final check.
