Bio
Born and raised in Argentina, started learning English from a young age.
After High School I started my university studies in Social Communication, since I was interested in Journalism and reading/writing/spelling was always my forte. But once I started working as a call center rep in English, I realized I wanted to take my English abilities even further and I started a 3-three year degree to become an English<>Spanish Scientific, Technical and Literary Translator, where I fall in love with the profession. Unfortunately, while I took all the subjects in their curriculum, life had others plans and due to personal and economic hardship I couldn't sit on the last few exams and I was never able to get my degree from that local institute in Rosario, Argentina.
Nevertheless, I was not discouraged to pursue this profession. Thanks to Internet in general and Upwork in particular I was able to find people who trusted in my capacity to translate into Spanish while not being fully certified. I worked for several projects but one stood out. A really large translation project for the website iHerb.com where I learned many things. Later I was blessed enough to work with two translations agencies that taught me all I know about translating in the legal field, and where I gained confidence translating into my second language. My goals are establishing myself in another country; getting an international translation certificate; continuing with my specialization, and later on founding my own translation agency to be able to help newcomers as others did for me.
