Just as a variant; even though 'telecoms' is very much the buzzword in other fields, the full, long version is still often used for thing like masts, etc.

: Well, yes, but as the French text 'mat télécoms' is already in 'buzzword' form, it seems logical to retain the style (or lack thereof) in the translation.
