Suggestion

The translation of Education into Vietnamese is "GIÁO DỤC".

It is the process of teaching, training and learning especially in schools or colleges, to improve knowledge and skills (source: Oxford Advanced Learners' Dictionary)

Example: The Ministry of Education and Training (Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo).

Education (you see this often in CVs/Resumes, legal docs), however, could also be translated into "TRÌNH ĐỘ HỌC VẤN", especially but not necessarily when it goes with the word "Background", which, in Vietnamese, refers to all of the the education that one has received.

LacViet Từ Điển also suggests that Education may refer to "KNOWLEDGE" or in Vietnamese "KIẾN THỨC".

To say that a concept goes against one's education means that such a concept does not fit, if not betrays, what that person knows of it.

That goes against my education = Điều đó không đúng như những gì tôi biết.
