sapper, trencher Explanation: I reached this through the translation of "destraler" into the Spanish term zapador, which is also a soldier that opens trenches and clears the way when marching. Zapador translates into sapper or trencher in English, and I think it makes sense here, with the Catalan translation and the rest of the list...
