A CAR-T (kiméra antigén receptor) kezelés egy, a sejtterápiás és az immunterápiás eljárást ötvöző, személyre szabott, világszínvonalú innovatív terápiás eljárás, mely a daganatos megbetegedések legyőzését célozza.

A CAR-T kezelés a hagyományos kezeléssel nem gyógyítható hematológiai daganatos betegségek (egyes leukémiák és limfómák) gyógyításában igen eredményes.
A kezeléshez a beteg saját immunsejteit (T-sejtek) használják. Az immunsejteket speciális eljárással gyűjtik a beteg véréből és ***genetikai módszerrel a megbetegedést okozó daganatsejteket felismerni képes molekulákat hoznak létre a felszínükön.
