Το έγγραφο τότε πρέπει να θεωρηθεί από το αρμόδιο υπουργείο, να μεταφραστεί αρμοδίως και να λάβει επικύρωση από το Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών και στη συνέχεια να θεωρηθεί από πρεσβεία της ξένης χώρας στην Ελλάδα, την πρεσβεία δηλαδή της χώρας προς την οποία θα προσκομιστεί τελικά το έγγραφο.
