workfoce reduction Explanation: I believe this refers to the reduction of the number of workers, rather than the number of work hours especially when it is talking about an organization. Headcount reduction is another way to put it, but this is usually used when laying off people. Workforce reduction sounds a little nicer, although the Japanese already sounds nasty. |
