Bio

Dear recruiter:

I am a Mexican national with over 20 years of experience in dealing with
federal, state and municipal authorities, in administrative law and processes
which include, human resources, property regulation, procurement, buying and
payment of goods and services.

I have vast experience in translations, as I have been doing them since
2003. I was invited to work in the municipal government of Juarez, Chihuahua,
Mexico, due to my knowledge of the English language, serving as a liaison for
the General Department of Financial Promotion and Economic Development and the
Small Business Development Center in El Paso, Texas, and first contact of the
Chambers of Commerce in the United States. While there, I was invited to work
as a translator for the Law Office of Victor Manuel Reyes Gloria, my first
assignment being to translate a file of a civil case, of more than 600 pages,
to summon to trial a person located in the United States. I stayed at the Law
Office for about 4 years, doing translations of legal documents most of the
time.

I currently offer my freelance translation services through Stepes.com,
as well as volunteer translations for Coursera, the online teaching platform.

After 20 plus years working with the Mexican government and
independently, I consider myself an adaptable and committed employee, not
afraid to take new challenges and always looking to learn from my colleagues
and accompanying my professional development with studies in the areas in which
I work.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Respectfully,
