I was wondering if I could get some input for what is being used most commonly for the legal term "Count" in English to French legal terms. Can anyone tell me if this is what they are using in their pleadings, or is there another option being used? Also--in the case where opposing parties are English/French, do the reference lines on the source and target documents have to match? I don't think so--it doesn't seem reasonable since translation shortens and lengthens sentences. Please confirm if you could. Thank you! I might have more questions later--I appreciate your assistance!Collapse
