GoldenDict Installation Problem

GoldenDict-1.5.0-RC2-372-gc3ff15f_(QT_5123)(64bit) Installation Problem

Double-clicking GoldenDict.exe runs the program proper, instead of installing it here on Windows 7 SP1 x64 machine. How can I get it installed?
Many thanks in advance for your step-by-step instructions in simple language.

The version you're trying to install is a development version (also known as a "beta" version). It is not uncommon for opensource software projects to create installers only for non-development versions (i.e. for "final" or "release" versions). In such cases, the development version runs directly from the folder in which it is unzipped. If you want it to run from a shortcut icon, you have to move the folder somewhere else, and then create a shortcut to it yourself.

So, first, move the folder elsewhere, e.g. to C:\Program Files\GoldenDict\ (or, if you can't access that folder, then e.g. C:\GoldenDict\ or D:\GoldenDict, or: leave it right there on your desktop), and then right-click the GoldenDict.exe file and select Send To > Desktop (create shortcut).
