Việc xây dựng các tuyến đường cao tốc trong giai đoạn tới phải hài hòa giữa các vùng miền, nhưng tập trung cho những vùng động lực.
Ngày 21/5, Thủ tướng Phạm Minh Chính chủ trì cuộc họp về chủ trương xây dựng đường cao tốc giai đoạn 2021-2025, định hướng tới năm 2030 để chuẩn bị báo cáo các cấp có thẩm quyền về nội dung này.
Theo Bộ Giao thông Vận tải, trong giai đoạn 2011-2020, cả nước đã đưa vào khai thác 1.163 km cao tốc. Phấn đấu tới năm 2025, Việt Nam có 3.171 km, đến năm 2030, cả nước có khoảng 5.000 km đường cao tốc.
Thủ tướng Phạm Minh Chính yêu cầu ngành giao thông phân tích cụ thể tình hình, làm rõ nhu cầu phát triển đường cao tốc, các điều kiện hiện nay, những thuận lợi và khó khăn. Việt Nam đã đúc rút được nhiều kinh nghiệm sau 20 năm làm đường cao tốc, tuy nhiên ngân sách nhà nước có hạn, thời gian qua các bộ, ngành và địa phương vào cuộc chưa đồng đều, còn tâm lý trông chờ, ỷ lại...
Translation - English Prime Minister: Focus on the construction of expressways for dynamic regions
The construction of expressways in the coming period has to be reasonable among the regions, yet with a focus on dynamic regions.
On May 21, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting on the highway construction plan in the 2021-2025 period, with a vision to 2030, to prepare reports to competent authorities on this content.
According to the Ministry of Transport, in the 2011-2020 period, the whole country has put into operation 1,163 km of expressway. Striving to 2025, Vietnam would have 3,171 km, by 2030, the whole country would have got about 5,000 km of expressway.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh asked the transport sector to analyze the situation in detail, clarifying the needs for expressway development, current conditions, advantages and challenges. Vietnam has drawn a lot of experience after 20 years of expressway construction, yet, the state budget is limited. So far, the ministries, industries and localities have not participated jointly, and the reliant mentality still exists.
