Hello everyone,
I use Wordfast Anywhere alot, especially when I'm away from my office (and personal laptop), but I had a feature that I've used alot but now won't work and I can't understand why:
I used to be able to download the Bilingual File (unclean version of my translation) at the end of my translation, but now I can't - all that shows up is a docx version of it - that I can get by downloading the finished product anyway! Why the heck can't I get a bilingual file?... See more
Hello everyone,
I use Wordfast Anywhere alot, especially when I'm away from my office (and personal laptop), but I had a feature that I've used alot but now won't work and I can't understand why:
I used to be able to download the Bilingual File (unclean version of my translation) at the end of my translation, but now I can't - all that shows up is a docx version of it - that I can get by downloading the finished product anyway! Why the heck can't I get a bilingual file? Did I click on anything in particular to "deactivate" this?
This is a really important feature for my work, because most of the agencies that I work with need the bilingual file to forward to the revisor/proofreader.
Can I please get a rapid response as it's really bugging me and being a big problem.
Thanks in advance for any answers you can give me.

You're welcome (I saw you already got a reply)!
If the original file your TXML was created from was not a Word document, you can still create an "uncleaned" Word document from it, using the following workaround:
I have the same problem (in Wordfast Anywhere, I want to download an unclean, biligual document using the "Download Bilingual Word File), only with a slight difference: the format of my source documents is .doc, which seems to be the only prerequisite to make this tool work. On the contrary, all I get is a clean .doc file. Any idea why??
Thank you in advance!

I've translated the document and I downloaded the clean file as usual (File > Download Document File). Then, I clicked on File > Bilingual File Tools > Download Bilingual Word File (Beta).
The result are 2 identical files displaying only the target language! Thanks again.
