Hi everyone,
I have recently bought a new pc with windows 7 professional and installed microsoft office 2007 pro on it. I was trying to configure outlook but I'm having some problems setting my hotmail account in it. I have downloaded and installed outlook connector but it still won't work. Any ideas what it could be? Has anyone else experienced the same problem?
Cheers,
Mara

If you are a very old Hotmail user, you can open in MS Outlook with or without Outlook Connector [based on Outlook version]. You cannot open if you are a new Hotmail user and never pay for a premium account.

Antipodean's suggestion worked to force setting my hotmail account in outlook, although I don't have the same functions I used to, eg. I can't use hotmail to send messages (but at least i get all incoming messages) and so far i've been able to only set it so that once the messages are downloaded in outlook, they disappear from the hotmail server (something I didn't want), or the same email keeps coming again and again u...
