Hello everyone

I have an SVG file that I want to convert to a PNG or JPG image of around 15000 x 15000. I've tried some online utilities but none of them allow me to increase the size to more than around 2400 x 2400 (even if I specify higher numbers). Do you know of a utility that can do this?

Thanks
Samuel

You can enhance the image resolution... Apr 10

... using Gigapixel from Topaz Labs - this is a paid software but the results are really worth the money spent.

Tryout versions of Adobe Photoshop or Affinity Photo Apr 10

Serif has a fantastic publishing software suite, like a slick, modernised Adobe.
But results depend on how your SVG is set up (you may need to edit it in a text editor).

Photoshop is the standard though, and will produce the most reliable rasterisation.

ImageMagick Apr 10

As their website says:
ImageMagick® is a free, open-source software suite, used for editing and manipulating digital images. It can be used to create, edit, compose, or convert bitmap images, and supports a wide range of file formats, including JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, and Ultra HDR.

If you're just looking to increase the pixel count, Gimp is great and MS Powertoys has a utility for this.
If you want to upscale quality, then Gigapixel or the Topaz suite (both AI) do this very well (pricey).
I think I've seen somewhere MS Designer were planning to add this feature but I don't think it's been added yet.

Bests,

Philippe

Inkscape Apr 10

Open the SVG with Inkscape (free/libre software), Export to PNG (or JPG) with the required parameters/pixel size.

Recommend that over GIMP, since Inkscape is an SVG/vector image editor.

How could I have forgotten Inkscape?
It's another FOSS designed to create vector graphics.
I strongly recommend it, too.
