Find and replace grayed out. Any ideas why?

Hi.

Could someone please advise me how to enable the find and replace function (mine is grated out) in Trados Studio 2009? O have looked around the forum before posting this question but...

Hi rich,

you have to click first on "Find next" to enable the two options"Replace" or "Replace all". Once Trados has found the term you are searching for, it will be able to replace it. I hope it helps.
