For all of you whose work might be in relation with the French Health market, please note that a new law has been passed definitely.

It covers numerous aspects as conflicts of interest, health products governance, marketing authorisation, pharm reps activities, computer-assisted prescription software, etc..

It covers numerous aspects as conflicts of interest, health products governance, marketing authorisation, pharm reps activities, computer-assisted prescription software, etc..

The major point : Please note that AFSSAPS (Agence française de sécurité sanitaire des produits de santé) becomes ANSMPS (Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé). Really, an abbreviation more difficult to pronounce than the former one

Hi Claudia,

No, there is no(t yet) English version. The law passed 2 days ago (on December 19th) and was published only this morning on the Assemblée Nationale's Journal Officiel and site.

Maybe the pharma industry will order a translation later on.
