Hello,

I wanted to know if any of you has worked as a medical interpreter at a hospital, in the USA.

Hello,

I wanted to know if any of you has worked as a medical interpreter at a hospital, in the USA.
I am thinking of studying a course in Medical Translation, in Boston, but I am a bit scared of the prospects in this field.
I have two little boys, and I cannot work do shift work.
I think in hospitals, medical interpreters are required to work on shifts, during weekend and at night.
Can any of you please confirm it, do you know anyone who has worked as a medical interpreter?
I have experience in Spain as a translator and interpreter (mainly Spanish into English)

The course is not cheap, and I am not sure about it...
Thanks,
Eva

Medical Interpreter Nov 25, 2013

¡Suerte!
