Status of the bid

How do i come to know about the status of the bid. i had bid for a D > E translation job but till now i am in the dark about its status

The outsourcer can close the job, in that case all the bidders know that if they weren't chosen somebody else was, and they can also thank everybody for bidding.
That's what they CAN do. They don't always do it, maybe for lack of time...

If you select Jobs / My bids, you'll find the link to the job and you'll be able to see whether it has been closed. The fact that it is not closed doesn't mean that they're still looking for someone.

One of the things we're currently discussing as improvements/enhancements to the jobs function is a deadline for quotes, after which the job will be closed automatically. This will take some time to implement, though... thanks for your patience.
