I wrote several pages, while a Master's student, on the art and theories of literary translation. Although I also wrote an article on literary translation, which was published on a website whose goal was to increase people's general knowledge about all kinds of things.

Some 20 years ago, I did some terminology work when I was working in-house and it was published, but I can’t claim it as my own, as I was a member of a small team charged of translating into Portuguese the names of regions in the EU Member States, based on levels 1 and 2 of the NUTS classification. Our collective work was revised and features now as the Annex A10 to the EU Interinstitutional Style Guide.

Yes - I wrote an article which was published in the European Medical Writers Association journal on who makes a better medical translator - those who are primarily medics, or translators who specialise in medicine.

I wrote an article about the different connotations of terms used for agricultural chemical crop protection products in different contexts. It was published in the magazine of the Dutch crop protection trade association.

I studied translation theory academically for many years and it was the subject of my PhD dissertation. My research led to a lot of published articles.

My agenda is full. I don't have enough spare time to do everything that needs to be done anyway. A colleague is abroad working until Christmas and I'm looking after his house and chickens while he's away, which is already impinging on my dog walking schedule...
