Hallo.
I do not know if this is feasible and what the others will think of my idea.
This is it:
Would it be possible to link BB postings to the profile of the member who posted them?
Like this, BB will also serve as a sort of "reference book" for proz.
If an agency looks up my profile and finds a list of agencies I have already worked for, they can easily find out if I am reliable and competent.

This seems a very good thing to be implemented, but most probably should be left as a free choice, the profile owner can choose whether to dispay it or not. That being said, I'm in favour of this possible new feature (made optional).
Anyway, what I've already requested (and take this occasion to ask again) is to know which link to visit to find all agencies I've reviewed. I don't recall that information and most probably many agencies could be added. Some times ago I made a support request and was answered that this kind of link/information was not available, yet.

I believe you have a point there, it should be made optional, to saveguard confidentiality.

I totally agree, the optional nature of this feature is essential. But all features you can add or remove from your profile are optional, aren't they? This is important, as each translator may have his reasons to show or hide some items of his page.

Good suggestion, Domenica. Sorry for the slow response, but a portion of what you suggested is available now.
I have made Blue Board postings visible to members in a new tab on the profile pages. For now, these tabs simply give you a way to make sure that your entries are complete and up to date.
In a future enhancement, we will add a way to make this visible to clients for relationship-forming purposes.

Good point, Ilde.
For now, each member can see only her/his own list of ratings in one spot. (Note that any platinum member can see them one by one on the Blue Board, although this would take quite some time.)
I should also point out that this data is being made available to approximately nine "jobs moderators" whose role is to track the Blue Board and job postings, keeping undesirable agencies out of ProZ.com, and also preventing misuse of the Blue Board.
