It was really a very interesting conference which provided us with sufficient data concerning SDL trados. The event was really technical and informative. It makes us aware of all details concerning Trados software. Thank so much for this fruitful event.

Excellent, informative event for a wide audience. The talks were evenly spaced at a reasonably fast pace but with intelligible, soft-spoken speakers who kept the listeners/viewers attention all the while. That means I would certainly advice against using GT MT when doing a pretranslate, because you might send your whole text to GT. That's a serious breach of the NDA.

I tried it some years ago, and I didn't use it again. But this year I used it for a client, for an online meeting, and it worked very well. That's one of the reasons I joined this conference afterwards. The advantages to live conferences are big, for me it feels as a drastic change, but it was in the making since, maybe, 10 years or so.

14:32 Jun 6, 2014	Peter Motte: 30753	All	Cetainly in these days, with online work, apps (are always only), the mistakes in OpenSSL and some names I don't mention, we should certainly be carefully not to install leaks which lead to breaches of the NDA's. It's not as if we have some package of paper in a closet which only a burglar can get his hands on.

So it's really old for me, and that translation agency was on the brink of new things. But, guess what: I almost never get a job from them, and not because they don't want too. For some or other reasons, their clients went away.

The car is a good example: it IS still a worry. The Dutch Prince Bernhard visited a health instituion once, and 1 out of 3 people in a wheelchair were victims of road accidents. At the moment he saw that something had to be done about that, because at that time nobody really cared about traffic safety.
