Very useful and complete insight on the possibilities and resources for interpreters looking for better work sources. Many recommendations also apply to translators.
Thank you for this amazing opportunity for learning and getting expert advice.
The 3-day event is a wonderful opportunity to learn about so many different aspects of the language industry. But, horror of horrors!! At the bottom of the page, a line reads "The following exhibitors are in there booths, ready to answer your questions." Can it be true that at an event for LINGUISTS, this blatant misuse of "there" instead of "their" can appear on your page? Has noone else brought this to your attention? It´s terribly discrediting for your organization to hire people that don´t know how to use "there", "their" and "they´re" properly You need an editor/reviewer, to avoid this from happening again. Let me know if I can be of assistance ;)
I appreciate the opportunity to access the recording of the sessions and watch them at a convenient time, since my time zone was not ideal for following and actively participating. The chats were probably already past peak time when I joined. I hope to be able to follow one of the live sessions on Saturday.
And the last, it is so pity that you can import to another TM the sdltm directly... cannot understand how such a simple thing was not thought

It is quite interesting, but the product is not sold in my country (Cameroon). I guess I can buy it on the internet, but I would really appreciate if you could aso sell your products in Africa, particularly in Cameroon where the translation industry is developed.

You can do this using the merge feature.

Yes, I have looked into the files and I have followed a getting started training. One thing I am uneasy about is iI never find where the package TM physically is?

It is a little trickier though because of the fields and other language resource settings that can vary. So you need more control over the options as they are merged.

Hi all, I am in the same position as Thierry with Trados 7 and TagEditor and I am reluctant to make the changeover as I am very happy as I am.
